cheers Trev, if it is definately a fatigued pressure plate then hopefully under the warrenty the unit can be changed for another one.

Test fitted the GTR wheel that Matt brought along this evening and tbh it looks the shit :D only a bit of rubbing on the front but thats only because the tyres on these are much wider and larger in diameter :) so with the correct tyres for my car we're laughing :D

Shame i didnt take a photo of it on the back, it looked hardcore :D

As nice as the wheels are Dan. I would get the clutch issue sorted and then decided if you want to keep it. Nothing worst than having a car with niggling faults just spoils the enjoyment.

They do look good though:coolgleamA:

Of course mate, funny enough dad said that to me not 15 minutes ago :) Did have a chat with Eddy whilst at Snett and the problem sounds more hydraulic then clutch unit. All will hopefully be revealed soon when he has it

But yeah it does look proper nice :D hopefully i can pull this look off for real :smash:

Edit: oh on the way home i managed to loose the center cap off of one of the wheels

Looks good Dan but in the first pic with the GTR wheels on it looks like you have got it on the wrong side. The direction on the tyre is pointing as if the wheel should be on the right hand side of the car.

I wondered when someone would pick that up :D answer being is that i was parked close to Matts Clio and didnt want to risk any tools or my chumpyness hitting his car :)

GTR wheels look great and being forged, they will be a good quality, lightweight addition. These sorts of wheels are normally available cheaply enough too, which sweetens the decision no end.
