Finished 2nd in club class and had he done his fast last in the final ha would have won club challenge ahead of all the 4wd cars. Impressive driving.

That M3 was nice. Loads of grip and shorter ratios go a long way to a great time, and he could certainly drive
Two comments about the weekend though; why the Hell have the organisers introduced another class with two rounds to go? (Club Pro RWD) Were the crowds any good?

I get the move to club pro, I just don't understand the reason to sub-divide that class things as four wheel drive and rear wheel drive. Even less so when the change has been made with just two events left (ie more than half way through the series)
Glad that Cadwell was well supported. A great track and I'm sure Andy, Glenn and Rob must be thrilled with the continued success.

Their points from rwd club have moved to the same class in club pro. It was a track safety thing with cars circulating at huge differential speeds in that class. It is right for them to be in with the club pro power levels. It has no impact on anyone not least them.
It was a cracking event and despite fears of it being too narrow for TA, i think it was a great venue for it. Up there with Oulton for pure mixture of driving as you know.

As Graham pointed out, we're running a lot faster this year than last ( as well as a newcommer Jamie in the Lotus Exige). As theres no 'testing' to get an idea of the pace of cars before the season starts theres no real way of placing cars/drivers in classes. We definately didn't think both the Whifbitz cars would be 4 secs quicker at Oulton and Knockhill as the cars haven't changed since last year mechanically.
We were moved up because of the rules, when people come withing 5% of the next class winner for 3 races they move up to that class.
What I was worried about was that we'd have our points migrated into the Club Pro points table and people that we may have pushed down wouldn't be too pleased ( As I wouldn't if that happended), so the organisers created the RWD class to keep us seperate and move us out of the Club RWD class - everyone stays happy and the battle the three of us were having continues.
Must admit I was pretty nervous of moving into the big pond at a track I'd never driven, but everyone was very accomodating and friendly - which is the way Time Attack is really...
Lets bring on the final round and the 'personal' battle Graham and myself have had for the last 2 seasons .....
