S15 non Turbo

Post by Rob S »

Saw this and thought it was a nice cheap example, then saw who was selling it, Ron Kiddell .

PS Don't anyone get too excited, I have nt got the money to get my car worked on, let alone buy another car.

Yes, that is Ron's Porker in the 3rd pic.

Not sure why he has one of those, but it looks very tidy.

While I appreciate the wooosh and thump of a turbo cannot be beat normally, anything in my house with turbo (even my wifes hair dryer) written on it goes wallop after about 5 minutes.
NA's just last longer with me, unfortunately.

Another temptation for a reshell :smash: but then it doesn't have the same bracing as the spec R and I won't get as much for the bits after it's been ripped apart.

Weld in cage, nice SR20 built and mapped by Hayward and job done. Nice way to spend 10k all in.

Don't use Flux then :)

Why couldn't you get an SR20 with a Power FC for 4k? That leaves a grand for the cage and whilst that's tight, I bet it could be done easily enough. Tell you what, you put up the money, kick back and I'll get it done for that budget :D
