Chris and I took the 328M for a shakedown at Bedford back in June. There's a few teething problems, one of which you might spot in the video!

Anyway, enjoy the noise!

Love the sound of your car and some nice smooth driving. Although it does look as if the gearbox or at least the gearstick is moving about rather a bit:eek:

Thanks guys and Pablo, you spotted one of the issues :thumbs: The gearstick has been rebushed so it no longer flaps around but there are other issues too.

The ABS needs hooking up, the suspension needs a lot of tweaking, tyre pressures need more trial and error and we think the vanos may be faulty. There's good headline power (now 350 bhp after another dyno session) but there's very little power until you hit around 4500 rpm. With everything sorted I'd hope the car will be good for a lap of Bedford 7 or 8 seconds quicker than in the video. On the day of the video I was short-shifting at 7000 rpm, changing gear much slower than normal and the car had very little grip on the front end.

after a rash purchase of an engine off ebay which i will now not be using:banghead: it will be entering a final phase of develoment after the aug10th track eve resulting in me breaking my m3 evo up for the engine .
