I can see why I haven't watched it in a while. An opportunity missed in my opinion as the producers (Clarkson) saw fit to spend ten minutes dicking about with fitting a section in about how many musicians you can fit in to the car, rather than look at specifics of how these things handle. Lap times, as we all know, tell only half of the story and something substantive about grip levels, driver involvement and running costs would have been more useful to me in a buying feature than whether the chap with the brass instrument had to lean over or go through the sunroof.
Maybe I'm in isolation in thinking that I watch car shows for the cars, not the quips or egos.
