What a shocker! No ring! And the cars did n`t get blown up, rolled or used as bangers! The Merc i thought was crap, the M3 sounded sweet and the cossie would be better off living on my drive!:D

Something did occur to me though, they are supposed to know about cars (especially James and Hammond) so when buying a secondhand one surely they would have a full look over the car.

So why didnt Hammond spot the crash damage ? You'd have thought that as there would have been a top speed challenge (like there always is) then they would have paid a bit more attention and care to the car they were picking.

Unless, someone else does the choosing and buying and they just drive it (which destroys the illusion of the programme) :)

A good episode though.

The whole programme is getting a bit boring same jokes repeated over and over. (How many times do Hammond and Clarkson drive into May's car!!) Last night just tipped me over how many times did the Merc go backward!!

Time to retire the show for a few years!!

Here's the footage from Sunday that ended up on the cutting room floor- http://www.topgear.com/uk/videos

Personally, I think they chopped out the wrong bit (that practicality "test" with the Band was completely pointless and not funny in the slightest)!
Finishing off the Ford ;)
