Good day for them I think, and Thanks to all you BP lot who looked after the Auto-testing, very well organized and run.

The evening parade laps or lap' were an utter disaster , but I wont go into details, needless to say it wont ever be happening again. Shame for some idiots to ruin things for everyone else.

James

Details, details.........it's all about the details. Tell all :)

There were 37 people auto-testing Tony, and the standard was pretty good. There was one young lad who managed to do a 36 second run in a Pug 205. I couldn't do quicker than 39 seconds in the Golf, although with suspension and tyres to match the Pug, I could do a bit better than 39 (I hope) Either way, he drove well and very, very consistent so he deserved the win over and above his peers.

I would like to personally thank the tireless efforts of the BP team; Gareth, Harry, Ben and Dan. You guys done the club proud today and I am sure the event would have fell flat without your work.

For the record our BP guys would have held 2nd, 3rd and 4th if our times had counted. With more laps I'd be confident that one of the lads would have one outright. It all bodes well for August 10th, that I do know.

Thanks again guys

I do work there as you may know Stuart but I don't feel it's my place to say any more, if James would like to elaborate then I think as my guvnor it would be his call, all I will add is if ANY of those involved are BP members, I hope you feel totally ashamed of yourselves for the irresponsible actions that could quite easily have cost lives!!

A great day was had by all, lots of posing mainly by BP and some crap driving not by BP, thought the young lad who one the event was pretty focused and had good car control
But enough of the pleasantries SF stop faffing about and dish the dirt on what happened on the parade lap

The only BP members onsite I'm glad to say were running the Autotest which was thankfully trouble free.

I'm surprised Stu forgot to mention that the VW club were beaten by my little GTR :) ...
