Where did you get the cage Trev? After talking to Mike earlier, I'm starting to fear for Grace's interior :)

The rollcentre one is the one iam fitting at the moment and is a very good fit with the head linnig in place so no cutting the roof where the sunroof is although i have removed all the sunroof guts.

I have screwed and stuck the original roof panel in place so looks original from outside.

Will do picks tommorow as i finish the install.

update time :D

well all the black soundproof is all gone , i used the heat method in the end as i bought a can of freeze spray and it was usless, heat method is alright if you clean everything up afterwards with thinners
anyway its all painted white again and looking nice and fresh
other than that not much has happened apart from buying things like a flocked dash and carbon bonnet from gti international
i made a start on the dash today armed with a jigsaw and some carbon sheet :)
as i have no heater i have no use for the vents so they are now covered
as is the stereo hole /heater controls /unwanted switches, and a hazzard light switch is all thats in there at the moment (plenty of room for some gauges at a later date)
also cut some brushed aluminium to cover the ashtray and this will be used for various switches

but most importanltly i know have myself a nice secure unit to keep some cars in and work on them come rain or shine
the mk2 has already found itself a corner

That set of scales pictured..........is that for you or the car mate? :)

Nice dash.....far too cheap; you robbed the guy. As for the fibreglass, I mean carbon bonnet, will you be painting that or leaving it with the weave showing? It would be criminal not to get yourself some dirty blown arches Trev....do the mk1 arches just bolt on? If so, store your decent ones, buy some tatty ones and then you've got the OE mint look for shows and the proper munter motorsport look when you need it too.

Changing the subject, I'll be ordering some bits from AVS this week. Can you check what I'll be ordering, just in case I fuck up
