I helped celebrate the cars 23rd birthday yesterday when this arrived......

A 1500 mile old Ashley tubular manifold, as recommended by Dr's Pablo and Bart- thanks guys!!
It now looks like this....

....thanks to some UHT paint and a beer in the garden;)
I'll be stripping and painting the brakes supplied by the good doctors, and also speaking to a friendly engine building ninja tonight for a realistic figure of what to expect and whats involved to get there.
