Interesting... this is right on my doorstep. I haven't done any sprinting before, anything I need to bare in mind / do to my car in prep?

Most of it you'll have done Des; have a look at their specific rules mate to answer your questions. I still love the principle of sprints, it's a brilliant format. With the amount of driving offered as above, I don't think you can go wrong.

Baz, are you guys using a smoother section of the runway or should we bring our 4x4's? :D

My first ever track day - well airfield day - was with Javelin .. good bunch of guys. I'd had my car 2 weeks before going out on one of their days.

If my calendar wasn't so full I'd be tempted to have a go, but I'll have to miss this one due to having to do some some running repairs to mine before another 2 events the week following this.

Maybe make it to Woodbridge later in the year.

Many thanks for the replys folks, We still have plently of space left so just PM me if you want adding to the list, We are not MSA controled and providing your car is safely modified you just need a driving licence, current MOT and meet our sensible regs then you are in.

hi bazzagt4 , myself and sasman are interested in doing this but could you clarify what we need to be allowed to enter .
we both have the same car , e36 328i coupe , only mods are exhaust , inlet manifold , induction kit , coilovers , uprated pads and discs , bucket seats with 3 point harness ,no seats in back , and fuel pressure regulators , think thats it , they are road legal trackday cars .
is there anything that we have to have in or on cars or can we just come and have a go ?
also the cars are running seriously low to the point were mine scrapes the chassis rails on the ground when i come in and out of my drive and i know sculthorpe is very rough ,do you think there will be any clearance issues?

also mine at the last noise test at snett came in at about 100db , if it is over your limit or on it is there any leaway or is it day over ?
thanks
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]i used to be driven by demons ,
now i make them sit in the back

Hi There,

Your BMW sounds fine and should be ok to run in class X, There are always many people around 1st thing to help you get through Scruitineering so there should be no problem. We also have a few shared drive cars and have a procedure set up for driver handover so your runs are not compramised in any way.

I have never been to Sculthorpe but have been told by Javelin that there has been big clean ups and some resurfacing done. A good few of us have low cars so I'm sure it wont be a loose gravel rally stage.

Have you registered over on the TSS forum http://toyotasprint.com please use your real names and we can get you on the running lists once you have paid.

Hope to see you there.

Regards
