Oh no...........Treyarch are producing it! If this was Infinity Ward, fair enough, but these clowns are the ones that have made games like Spiderman, Call of Duty for the PlayStation 2 and the Tony Hawk series. There is even a rumour that the game may be (gulp) third person.

Time will tell though. I haven't bought MW2 yet........by the time I'm back into gaming mode, i.e. Winter, you guys can let me know whether this is any good or not :)

Haven't half of the Infinity Ward staff gone across to Treyarch though Stu? At least thats what i had heard...

Truth be told, (in my opinion) the MW series rocked and things like 'World at War' were crap in comparison as they were made by different people.

Fingers crossed this is nearer the MW series otherwise i won't be buying it!

26, yes, 26 of the Infinity Ward staff have left and joined a new firm, funded rather ominously by Electronic Arts, called Respawn I think. There have been a couple of lads join Treyarch from IW, and industry gurus are talking about them disappearing in the near future.
I hope EA's money helps the guys develop some genuine next gen gaming, rather than exert the normal strangle hold on development and proper progression. I've seen them bugger up so many great titles before (Medal of Honor anyone?)

Lol, agreed on the Medal of Honor!

Anyone played Battlefield Bad Company? How does it rate as single player and online? I'm tempted with it as i hear its a similar game to MW but with bigger online maps?

Not played much of it, but I liked what I played. Deformable environments too, so campers get a rocket pretty damned quick. Big maps, good weapons. Single player was good.
All based on limited gameplay, but positive all the same.
