Been away for a couple of years.....

Post by TonyB »

.... so I thought I would pop in and say hi

Good to see the familiar names :D I hope you all have been doing well?

I suppose I should let you know what I have been up to since I broke the Celica. Well nothing car related I am sorry to say. I have dabbled in a couple of other hobbies but none lasted as long as my 7yr affair with my beloved GT4. I have had a change of job, got married (about time I hear you say), and we had a litter of puppies from our Newfoundland Molly which was great fun.

I have just bought, pick up on Wednesday, a shiney new Octavia VRS estate. I know it is not in the big power league, or indeed a weekend warrior I expected to have by now, but I have got a couple of mods planned and hope to see some track action. It was a good choice in car; having really enjoyed my current octavia as a work horse and not wanting a car that I would be tempted to mod crazy with.

Gonna have a poke around now and see what you have all be up to. Hopefully I can find a 'ring trip in the planning for the end of the year ;-)

Cheers,
Tony

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Please don't post any pics of Newfy pups though :)
