Having seen this thread pop up to the top of the post list a few times, it's made me think about it ( and others like it) further.

Not having a dig Ian but I do find the whole 'Vote for me/my daughter/my car' threads quite funny, as normally, the people that ask for votes don't usually seem to contribute that much to the community they're taxing for votes! It would be far more understandable if you came to the meets, took part on the forum or even did the odd event..........

This is just me blowing off steam......you asking for votes is no big deal, but I bet you would have got a bloody sight more if you played a bigger part in the club.

Rant over

it is cheeky to ask, but i have been told many times, you dont ask, you dont get. and if you are affrade of the answers, dont ask scary questions :)

I don't blame you for asking Ian. It would be nice if you won the comp.

By the way, the last few meets have been at the weekends ;) (Get out of that one)
