Thought I'd get the Volvo V40 workhorse onto ebay now that I have it's succesor in the A4.

I got it in September from my daughter who, like me doesn't do car cleaning (must be a genetic thing :) So it was pretty filthy having stood under the oak tree, home to half of Beds. pigeon population, for the last couple of weeks. The inside was no better with crispy brown oak leaves everywhere. If it weren't for various tool boxes, crates of work stuff, cardboard boxes and general crap it would have been an interseting autumnal scene.

Cleared everything out and set off for the Kosovan Kar Wash some 1/4 mile up the road. Arrived there and was immediately set upon by the usual crowd plus the usual couple of new faces. I'm sure it must be a transit camp for new imports, acclimatising themselves before re-locating to new car wash sites around the countryside.

As their beaverings was drawing to a close having done their usual first rate job and transforming the car to something looking quite respectable I actually considered giving them more than the

congratulations but the big question is , did you have to pay the tenner ?

Yes and that bit did stick in my throat a bit :D

It looked so nice I wouldn't go any lower. Had he asked before it was cleaned I'd probably have said

However, i think you'll be pushing your luck trying it with the EVO as well unless the boot is big enough for two Kosovans ;)
