Classic Impreza Drivers Door Handle / Lock Assy

Post by AdrianP »

Well...

After some lowlife decided to take a fancy to my car last night I now need a drivers door handle assy & lock...

They managed to get into the car but I guess as soon as the alarm went off they legged it...

Luckily it still locks etc on the remote but I want to get it fixed as soon as poss obviously.

So does anyone have one that's not too expensive?

Ta

Should have what you need Ady. I'll get back and let you know.

I also have a complete lock set if you want to keep it all on one key. Only problem will be if yours has OE transducer key for the imobiliser

Could well still be interested Gerry,

Typically, we went to undo the handle from the car he has out back and the captive nuts in the handle just keep turning so we can't get it undone... :banghead:

So if you do have something Gerry, let me know.

I did think about getting a set off e-bay and using rear ones to de-lock it but they are smaller so that screws that idea...

There is also the element of trust Ady.

If you buy a lock set off of eBay, they know your address and the key that unlocks your car. (Call me cynical)

I know what you mean there Stuart,

If I get them off Ebay, it will just be a handle set if no-one else has one for me As I'm not looking at connecting the lock back up again to be honest (Just hope the remote never dies...lol)
