what a great day it was at the pod, clear sky's, nice an warm and the strip action was great apart from the odd few that layed loads of fluids down closing the strip. the comontator was very funny cursing them:smilielol5:

my objective of the day was to beat my previous best time in my old GT of a 17.4. this was a tall order as i have a leaking down pipe, not all the mods i had on the car previously and i had a longer diff previous was a 3.92 and this one is a 3.62 ratio.

so on my second run i beat it by by 0.1 wahoo but i know the car could have gone quicker as at the start i kept getting wheel spin.
my best reaction time of the day was 0.238 and second was 0.283 so was happy with those.

this was the best picture i took all the day, the jet car as i took the shot is was doing about 250MPH and crossed the time doing a 5.8 1/4 at 280MPH

all the pics will be put up on our website in the next day or so and ill atatch a link to it, i also have video footage of my runs so ill sort them as well

Yes, looked like a great day.

Thought something must have been on at the Pod as saw a Vaux Nova with whitewash numbers on the A11 near Snett later in the afternoon.

This is a very nice 3dr cosworth with several carbon body panels. We met this guy at last years round of the time attack at Brands Hatch were we had a very long chat and this year he will be competing in the time attack and we wish him well.
