Another VAG Slag

Post by Gerry H »

OK, as it's a little quiet, I'll start this tonight instead of tomorrow.

The Dax is being picked up tomorrow and I 'won?' this on ebay last night after going to see it on Thursday. Had a brief drive and then spotted a BM 530D with 'M' Sport pack. Looked around the BM, which was a mid-blue, black leather, etc. had a drive. Phoned MikeB for his opinions and decided to stick with the Audi. Must be getting old :(

So that's the workhorse sorted :)

2.5 Diesel with 6 speed Tiptronic (or whatever it's called) auto, that I've been reading today, is a bit of a worry.

TipTronics are cool, dad had one in the Galant. Although i kept on going for the clutch pedal when changing :o

Looks like a good buy Gerry

Very, very nice mate. I would imagine that you would be very happy with that. Ideal for towing your mkI track car ;)

That looks lovely Gerry, well done!
The Audi's are bloody well built, that coupled with the fact that your luck with cars must change, I'm sure it'll be fine.

I wasn't going to mention luck and cars in the same sentence Rob. :)

The last car I got at a good price was the RX-8  nothing else can be that bad, or can it? :)
