As an anti-Bart measure, I take it you will not have adjustable boost mate :D That sort of thing may be very dangerous indeed in your hands :)

Looks like for a change we will have a weekend of nice weather to work on the car. Plan to get the whole interior stripped out and hopefully painted. Bart had the good idea of doing it a section at a time, start in the boot area removing the carpet and scrapping off the sound deadening. Then work our way forward.

Progress so far:bart:

Always a strange job that; satisfying and yet frustrating too. I've tried heating it up, freezing it and even getting off with tools. I always get to the end of the job though and wonder whether the effort justifies the rewards.

Do you have a weight target for the car this time around?

Yes we do, the maximum weight will be 1150kg. This is all based on the targeted power to weight ratio.

today ripped out the front seats and carpet out the car to get to rest of the sound deadening.
as a test we have bagged all the stuff ive ripped out and going to wiegh it tomorrow as the back was quite heavy once i we finished.
we have found some rusty spots so they have been treated so dont get any worse.
smoothed out the floor with wire brush on my drill and then painted it stu's favourite colour satin black:D
