does anyone work with Suspension design?

With a few months of rehab ahead of me since the back op, I've been looking at the suspension design for my next project. I thnk I am grasping most of it but how do you work out the side view instant centre? Am I right In thinking it is simply a projection from the hub joint through the wishbone chassis joint for both top and bottom wishbones and where the two cross is the IC?
