Stones, or rather fine gravel chips, on the first sprint were a nightmare. Not only did they make the course slippery but they shotblasted the arches, sills and lower doors. Mike B's freshly painted, wide bodied, Impreza was in a sorry state.

To be fair it was only really his wheels that took a beating, Mike was saying they are getting aroad sweeper to clean the track this year.

To be even fairer his doors and sills were peppered. Ask him!

I had AP calipers on the Scoob with 17" STi wheels. There was very little clearance and stones got between, scoring both the wheels and the caliper edges.
