Cheers Daniel

Can't wait to have a drive of it. It's going to be rather quick.

All we know at the moment is that it's a 3.2 Evo S50 engine that has come directly from Geoff Steel's race car that competed at the Nurburgring 24. It has a lightened and balanced crank, rods, pistons, (std compression) and decked block, whatever that means! I recall from my Subaru days that a closed deck block is stronger than a standard block. I assume it's something along those lines.

It has a pair of Schrick 284 camshafts and will be built up in the 328 with the same carbon airbox it ran in the race car.

Here's some compression test results taken before the engine was removed. Maybe someone can tell us if they are good:

1. 135
2. 135
3. 130
4. 130
5. 135
6. 135

Cylinder leakage test:

1. 10%
2. 15%
3. 5%
4. 12%
5. 15%
6. 15%

Power output is 360 bhp.

Cheers. It was a stroke of luck. Called Geoff Steel to see what engines they had available and it was being removed at the time of the call.
