Borough 19 North Weald 14th March
Thanks to our resident MLR dwelling, 30-130 winning, car mapping, laptop wielding Dr Hayward I have heard that Logan won his class and got a third fastest time of the day. I have also heard that Tk was going very well indeed until he destroyed his radiator

Hearing Trevs news has made me more gutted that i was not there, Not because you broke down mate and went home early, But because i was`nt able to bait you into bodging it up and carry on playing! ( Heathel repeat) 
I think getting there and being syked ready to go and not being able to run is probably worse than spending the day at home sulking wishing you were out playing? Better luck next time Trev!

only results i know are logan first in class the other evo6 from mlr second in class

when i left jason in the integra was winning his class with lee in 3rd but dont know the outcome of that
dont know how gerry or mikeys got on but looked to be enjoying themselves

Class A3, Jason in the Integra won with Lee 2nd, good work chaps, especially Jason as it was his first ever sprint, top result!
Class A4 - I got 1st with a time of 73.51 (3rd FTD), Mark in the 6 RS sprint was 2nd with a 74.76 (4th FTD) Awesome result as it was his first MSA event, and he'll definaelty get quicker as he has sponsored Driver training through the MLR/CAT!! Gulp! John Start 3rd with a 75 something, then Mikey then Gerry I think.
I only got 1 clean timed run, 2nd run I span out big time on the first chicane pushing too hard on my new tyres as they take a corner or so to get some heat into them! Then the last run I missed a gear change and generally went too sideways everywhere!
Shame about Trev, poor lad was not a happy camper and I can understand his frustration!!
Bedtime now.....up early tomorrow.

A big thanks to everyone i spoke to this sunday. Definatley makes the experience less intimidating and was able to get a few pointers walking the course with you guys and chatting to fellow competitiors.
The car felt great from the first practice run, so i didn't mess with it and concentrated on learning the course. With a bit of experimenting on the 2nd practice and 1st timed run i was able to get the braking points ok for couple of different corners. The second timed run i managed to hit the all braking points about right and went for 4th gear through the fast left, without running wide or being left short of the vtec zone. The run felt clean and resulted in my best time.
I threw caution to the wind on my last "Banzai" run and carried much more speed into the first chicance which subsequently spat me out backwards. I used the rest of the run to get some future references of how not to do the other corners. Definately was big fun and my entry for Honington is going in the post tonight, although there is something to be said for retiring undefeated.
This was the A2 class. Bill McKenna in the red porshe GT3 had a comfortable win in the A3 result.
