Theres a text file on the cd, you type in the right day and time then copy it to the sd card, when the camera comes on it sets the time, and deletes the file.

Modes seem to be:
Blue light - Record continuously
Blue + Red light - Record when theres a noise

Best recording time ive got on a full charge is 1 hour 20.

Dont worry about the hijack Rob, it's good to keep it all here in one place
The maximum card size acceptable for these is 8GB. I tried a 16GB and it didnt work.

Also ive been using this a fair bit longer (everyday since ive had it) and with regualr charges i have had a full 2 hours out of the battery :)

I've made more mounts today and longer arms for the single suction cup ones. I'm now uploading the videos to youtube of the various angles ive had it.

How much of the card does 2 hours fill Dan?

Nearly 8GB Gerry, which is dead handy because 16GB wont work in it. Saves me money straight away :D

Replying to the above update we re-welded the bracket and found out that one of the anti-tramp bars was loose. gave that a tighten up and the knocking's all gone. :D

But...

dear oh dear, today the gearbox has deveoped a nasty grinding sound. 99% sure that it's the layshaft bearing as i'm sure Eddy mentioned it to me at the unit. (asked via pm to confirm) So apart from the sound of death it's driving like normal :/ So i'm not going to pussy foot about with the trackday, if it's going to take the gearbox out it'll take it out. Give's me a good oppertunity to let Eddy fit another box. :)

any thoughts form anyone on roughly how long the gearbox would last? I'm guesing not very long :smash:
