Would anyone be interested?

Post by Daniel »

Hi all. As most of you know ive been tinkering away making camera mounts mainly for the mini DV as seen in my project thread. Would anyone be interested in buying any of the mounts now ive tried and tested a couple of prototypes? I'm heading out tonight to buy some more parts to make a limited run of them on ebay, but thought i'd ask here first before they are built and go on :smash:

i havent tested the long arm yet, but plan on doing so tonight :D if thats a success then i will also make and sell these and possibly make a conventinal camera mount to go on them :)

Dan they look good. Just an idea but maybe you could look into making a cage mounted version for the guys with cages.

i was thinking about this, but i dont think i'll be able to compete with prices to ones currently on the market as i'd have to machine each one for it to be up to the job for what i have in mind. But i do have a cheaper rollcage cam moun in mind ;) so you may see this in the project thread soon

So we wouldn't be able to use them at Snetterton then Daniel?

Sadly not. Suction mount camera pods aren't allowed at any MSV circuit for any event.

A bummer for everyone really including myself as i have an old one, but rules is rules ;)
