Killzone 2 PS3

Post by Stuart »

Does anyone have this game? I'd like to own it, largely so that I can carry on swearing at the TV set, smashing controllers against the floor :)

Thanks Tony

Don't think I'll get it any cheaper than that. I would buy something like AVP but my eyesights getting worse and that whole game seems to be set in darkness. I'll be sitting in the front room like Squinty McGinty.

AvP didnt get great results anyway Stu. I was planning on buying it but was disappointed with the demo and the reviews stopped me.

There is a bit of a lull with games at the moment. I'm only really waiting for Mario Galaxy 2 and Gran Turismo this year. There are a few that I'm tempted with like Battlefield 2 and Splinter Cell but paying full price for a game now it has to be good.

I played the Killzone 2 demo and didnt think it was great. Have you tried it yet mate ?

Yeah I tried the demo( offline only) and it was OK but far more 'realistic' in terms of AI and damage. The online is supposed to be very good indeed; essentially it's only to provide a bit of variety from COD. It won't ever replace it.

Ive got Killzone 2 - The single player campaign is epic and the multiplayer is like COD MW, but the graphics i personally believe are much better than Modern Warfare 2, definately need the surround sound up to appreciate the whole atmosphere. Gears of War for the PS3

Now everyone said you need to play the first game to understand it. I never did, and thought it was brilliant. Only really stopped playing it as nobody else i knew was playing it online, everyone moved to Call Of Duty.

Definately worth

I have a life size Helghast James, one of only 6 in the World!! It was specially commissioned by Sony for their top retailers in 2000 and something.......it was mint until a customer cracked the perspex gun holder! Still a mightily imposing figure with his luminous blood orange eyes.

I'll be buying the game, no doubt about it.
