A little update here. I feel i should now be the proud owner of a slightly crumpled 2000 vintage evo VI ralliart edition. But in my 7 years of using a certain internet salvage site i have never had a situation where as the auction closes it says i`m the winner, But when i checked it on my auction page it said i was not the winner, but my bid was the highest? I contacted the yard in cardiff, yes cardiff! to see what was going on (heart in my mouth- i wanted that car sooo bad!) They said they had been having computer problems in that previous cars had gone wrong like that and that the car had made reserve- they would look into it and get back to us. I`ve waited all day with baited breath- no call!:frown: What i think may have happened is that my bid was exactly the same as the other bidder, but as the other parties bid was first they got it? Maybe as harry said - it was not meant to be! After all it was in cardiff and i had gone nearly 1k over where i had hoped it would be.

As you say mate, maybe it's not meant to be :) I like buying things rather than auctions. Cheating bastards bump up bidding and no-one seems to be 100% straight when they describe things.

Keep plugging away mate. It will all come good.

When you know what you want it always seems ro take forever to find it or get it, but once you do all the hassle will become nothing more than a distant memory. Keep up the search:D

I've got a IV for sale, it's at Premiere Garage in Beccles if you want to have a look at it.
Away at the mo, but Daz will let you see it. It's got Brembo's allround.
