V8 Supercars ME Onboard footage from Yas Marina [HD]

As all Big Power V8 supercar fans will know the Aussie V8s will be at Yas Marina in 2 weeks time.

As a taster here is some HD onboard footage from one of the V8 Supercar ME drivers Raed Raffii from this last weekend races there.

The ME V8s will be there in 2 weeks time also supporting the Aussies.

If you've never seen the Yas Marina circuit from onboard you should definitely watch this video, the circuit is fabulous.

There is also a compilation from the very first race at the Yas Marina circuit which again was the V8 Supercars ME. The video includes onboards from various drivers and external footage, all to the sounds of Areosmith who played live after the event.

I spent the whole of the first lap watching his feet! Shame about the gears on the second lap.

Great circuit, noise and footage. I like the support that runs up the side of the accelerator pedal. Clever that

I love the grunt that the engine displays. Fantastic pick up on corner exit.

Glad you enjoyed the vids fellas, those SC06 cars are the same one they run at Rockingham on the V8 Supercar Experience, a few guys off here have driven them.

Also, they are being shown currently on MotorsTV, program is Chevrolet Supercars, editing is poor but worth watching

Well, we've now done the Aussie V8 race weekend and it again proved to be frustrating for Raed. Abdulaziz picked up 2 x 2nds and Husam 2 x 3rds but Raed, despite qualifying in 2nd place had overheating problems in race 1 so had to back off and short shift, finishing 4th. He started in 2nd for race 2 also but got punted off on Lap 1 of Race 2.

As ever we have some vids. This time just of the incident and including some slo-mo (1/2 speed and 1/4 speed) from onboard Raeds car and from Abdulaziz who was directly behind the incident.

Tough weekend for the lad and a big bill for Meezer.

Watched the Aussie V8's on MotorsTV last night Mega cameras they use, under the car was good showing the front wheel off the ground.
