okay well the mr2 didnt come with headlamp washers, i have a manual headlight tilt wheel in the cabin and dont have self leveling suspension :rofl: but the beam pattern should still be okay since the light unit itself hasnt changed :)

Can't you just pop the OE bulbs back in at MOT time?

thats what i was thinking tbh. i can leave the hid stuff unplugged and reconnect the existing plug and bulb, cant see an issue with that

Honestly itll probably pass the MOT with them in, mine always does, theres a difference between 'legal' and will pass MOT.

get the lower kelvin(K) as possible, i had the 4700k from memory...anything above that looks chavy and aweful in my opinion

all production cars have about 4700k as they are the brightest :)

I should have read about these on the net alot before getting the 5000K bulbs i have in the Integra. Only defining reason was price, at the time the 5000k kit was

Interesting read James,

I have a set of H4 4300k sitting here for the Impreza that I bought Dec08 and still haven't got around to fitting... :blush5:

I've got the MOT this month so will probably leave them until after that and then finally fit them just in time for the light nights of summer...:banghead:
