who's running a mac

i have just got an i phone and i have to say what a refreshing change to have something that a simple fellow can use without having complicated techy stuff sending me around in circles.my question is this is a mac computer made in the same manner , my pc is starting to piss me off big stylee and i am need of a new one very soon as this one is going to get

get a mac jase , you will love it .

i have had one for about 8 mths now and it is so easy to use and user friendly , nearly everything is drag and drop , told sasman about them and he now has one too and loves it .

i know that i will never go back to a pc

To be honest, it depends what you want to do with it?

I've got an early iBook that I use now and again running OSX and as long as I don't do anything too complicated on it, it works fine for me. (it has a huge 600mhz processor in it...)

The newer ones can run windows anyway in case you need both systems to do what you want.

mine is a 24" imac9 , with windows for mac installed so i can still acess my old files that i transferd over from word , powerpoint etc .

edit track video's , invoicing ( excel is proper

) print stuff onto paper, and have a machine which does as i tell it not what it thinks it should be doing

One of the things that has always put me off is the price. But maybe if I'd factored in the way I get through laptops, I could have bought a Mac by now

Ive always been a PC man, love windows etc but the last year i have changed my whole outlook as they are so user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

The other half has always used Mac's and has a macbook pro. Im chopping in my laptop and home pc to go for the new iMac next month for the music software possibilities and the photo editing software.

If you can just go to the i-store and just sit and play for ages, its what i did to get an idea and they are so laid back. I got asked when i came in if i wanted help, i just replied saying i wanted to test one for a future purchase and that was it.

Ive only ever owned Macs and will never purchase a Windows PC, its bad enough using Vista for occassional work on the company Laptop..when it decides to actually work of course

everyone i know who has used my mac, has eventually ended up buying one themselves

Macs are expensive no doubting that, but its for a very good reason (in my opinion)

a very long time ago i posted a picture of my "games console" thread

the little mac with the Dome on the bottom is now getting on for 9 years old! its running more or less upto date software 10.5XX ok its not very fast now but it still runs perfectly!

The iPhone OS is based on Mac OSX
