Ta Dan,

With me only coming in at 12st I think it's just a case of being a bit fitter rather than loosing anything.

And knowing me I'll just end up saying sod it and not doing anything anyway... (oops)

Good luck Dan and the other guys. I am also starting to watch what I eat and cutting out fizzy drinks (something I was tending to drink when at work and also at home with the only 'proper' drink being a glass of juice for breakfast). So far its going ok and I havent actually missed not having the regular crisps and chocolate everyday.
Also started running on the c25k programme to help, mainly because I havent the money to spend at a swimming pool and its more convenient.

I want to lose a stone or two but it'll be worth it.

Good luck to you other chaps.

I'll be buying a rower in the next months paycheck. I'm getting older, fatter and unfitter, so something has to change.

Should be interesting as my will power is crap!

i have to be honest, i reckon 12 stone is ideal for you ady, as you say, its just getting fitter thats more important :cheers2: hope it goes well

cheers Gareth, i too have cut out all the fizzy stuff and crisps etc not easy is it. i've been toying with the swimming idea for a while now, i 'used' to be an extremely good at it when i was younger, all certificates and medals etc for speed and endurance. so who knows, loose a bit of fat first and then ill hit the pool. I didnt know what the c25k programme was until i looked it up, looks pretty good to me mate

Stu, you lucky sod. i used to do a bit of machine rowing when i was at college in the gym, such an amazing workout. may have to look into that too :)

have you guys thought of joining a gym? i know its hard finding the time to get down there and getting into the routine of going...but once you get over that hurdle and you start to enjoy going the weight will start to drop off(especially if you are on a sensible diet)
