rad
samco hoses
bailey motorsport header tank
oil swirl pot
sump
alcon 6 paddle clutch
and a few other bits, all for a very reasonable price:)
The engine will be staying at the sponsors where it will be stripped down, bores honed, lightened and a full balance. The engine will be rebuilt using only quality new parts everything else is fair game......ebay watch out;).
Alan made a start on the car when we got back, removing the rear beam but in the first 10 minutes he broke 2 torgue bits and then a 19mm ring spanner. This old girl is already putting up a fight
. I better start searching fleabay for body panels either that or hide Alans hammers:smash:

That's the beauty of these old cars, if you want a few spares just buy a car:). I once bought a xr4x4 from Portland whilst searching ebay for a headlight:banghead:
Thats not such a bad idea as we have already given to the local scrapman, a whole engine plus other bits because we have at least 2 of most things.

Got up early this morning to find that it had snowed lightly over night:frown: Not what we needed today. Alan turned up at about 9.30 so we sat down with a cup of tea and did a bit more design work with the car.
Once the snow had melted we managed to get started about 11.00. The plan for the day was to change the beam, axle, diff, brakes etc.

We didn't manage to get everything done that we had planned as the weather was against us and it kept snowing on and off all day.

One drive shaft still to be fitted but need to change a gaitor first, plus still need to fit the calipers, can't to this just yet as we need some wheels that will fit over them and they are currently on Al's GT.
As normal once finished the car was lowered back to the ground as I don't like my neighbours having to look at car in bits all week long.

Another weekend and bit more work:) The jobs for this weekend were to change the front suspension, driveshafrs, hubs, lower suspension arms and brakes. Fit the wheels as the standards would not fit over the calipers.
