Stu, if I smash the Golf up, any chance I can kip at yours before I break the news to the missus? It's a bloody long walk back from Snetterton!

So I have no ABS, no traction control, no brake lights, worn R888's at best in sub zero, potentially icy weather.

At least I'll have some chance of keeping up with you then :p
Whatever happens it's going to be a right giggle. Can't wait :coolgleamA:

Kip at mine anyway, then we can talk shit about how awesome we were all night whilst eating chinese food :)

I think you'll be fine in the morning sessions John; it will be interesting if we ever get a dry line throughout the day :) Trev and I will be doing tandem banzai corner entries :D

Chaps great to see good support for this our first day of 2010.

just remember that last Feb we were in t-shirts at Snetterton.

If you are coming along don't forget that when you book via the site http://www.opentrack.co.uk go to the page called "Private area" and book there and you will get your big power discount the pass word is opentrack09.
thanks

May I offer some slight comfort to anyone that has either booked or thinking about it

This event is on the Sunday
The day before, Lotus on Track are there to help clear the track for us. They think they're there to have fun; but oh no...........they have been lined up as expensive, fibreglass snow sweepers especially for our little event on the Sunday

Here is the weather forecast for Sunday
Image

OK, maybe not, but according to Metcheck.com, there is no snow passed Sunday the 10th, rain for a few days and then Friday afternoon onwards it is dry for the next week or so. Sure you can expect it to be cold early on, maybe damp, but if you're shy there's always Tyrell's; if you're daft there's always the challenge of track :)

Come on guys.............shake that Winter apathy and get this booked up. Once I've finished terrorising John, Trev and my Brother......I need more targets  **

** Note to Snett

ONLY KIDDING :D

I'd quite like to get some decent HD footage of me harassing a certain M3 pilot ;)
So what's the rule regarding filming with suction mounts? I thought these were banned by MSV last year, Although they were used by a few on the 21st Nov trackday?

I'm sure James will be along at some to give the official verdict but you are 100% right, there were several people using them at that event.

I look forward to the footage. Has it got a good zoom feature on it then? ;)
