As you said stu i dont like the wings either so its good they can just be bolted on if you wont them, As for the seats going to probably go up to sca and try a few.
The car does not get used really at all, so i have to find the best seat to suit mainly track and accasional road use.
Also got the k sport 356 kit coming should be here just before christmas. all the best mike.
future plans are.
Remove all the sound deading and then put everything back over the top.
fit k sport brakes
fit carbon CSL rear spoiler
fit exhaust
Then i can see a cage on order [ dont tell the wife ]

Right little up date on project, Got a back box of bealo which he had in his shed and on removing the old one the weight of the old box is unbelievable.
Once the old back box was off couldn,t resist running the car with no rear box what a sound,
i know why the back box is so heavy it must have a ton of baffles in there.
As you can see by the size difference.
Both the clamps where rotton so a trip to bmw to try and get a couple was surprised where only

The exhaust looks superb Mike; I bet unsilenced it was something special

I'll be interested to see how you get on with the K-Sports; I've loved them on Betty but always felt like I should have had the balanced set on the back.

those brakes look ace what size you running?
there is a kid in all of us then the back box is off you have to start the car up:thumbs:

Stu unsilenced sounded crazy it amazed me how much the original back silenced the engine and the boxes that are forward of it carnt be holding back much gas flow.
The brake kit size is a 356 mm all the best mike

Fitted the first seat saturday and then decided to do a bit of weight loss couldn't believe the amount of sound proofing and padding .
Metal pocks in the rear quarters screwed in just to make the stereo sound better
When i removed the seats from the front you would not beleive how heavy these are
thought i had missed a bolt in the floor.
hopefully have brakes and seats ready for the track day . mike

Although it looks bad in the photos all covering trim is back in so it doesn't look any different.
just removed all unnessecery padding etc but still removed about 20kg

once i get the front seats removed they weight in at 28kg each

The new seats including frames should come in at 9kg each so a good saving
