Will you be mounting the harnesses off of the horizontal bar between your rear struts? (or is that just how the photo makes them look?)

Do you need a caring owner for the mk1? :) If it runs, I can give it the odd workout for you :)

the harnesses are currently mounted using eylets from rear belt holes in the floor as they were last year, im thinking of using the cage/harness bar but there seems to be pros and cons ,

the mk1 does run when you put a battery on it , the whole brake system needs bleeding though and coilovers need setting up , apart from that good to go with the gti 8v engine :) if i can find time for the ol gal and give her a little love i'd like her to have a trip to cadwell
oh yes there is also no handbrake due to some tit drilling the cable when fitting an eyelet for the harness :) i just wish i had a nice unit and time for her i have everything now bar a set of carbs
