Right boys and girls, who'se going to get the @rses in gear for this event?
This will be a cracking opportunity to blow the cob webs off after a couple of months, and set us up for a good and busy 2010!
(If the weather causes MSV to cancel it, you'll get your money back or get to have another day)
So come on, rest assured you won't be the slowest or least skilled because I'll be there!!

Sorry to say I cant make this TD, my first TD of the year is planned for Brands Hatch on 4th Feb with an old pal of mine. Looking forward to frightening my self through Padock Hill and Druids again and even more frightened as a passenger

I thought some of you might enjoy an insight into my top flight preparations for this event :)
Since my drift day in November I have done....................er, very little.

I have drilled some holes in the plastic windows for ventilation; quite why I have done this now we have sustained sub zero temperatures is anyone's guess.

I have killed my R888's at the drift event (down to the canvas  )and the wets I had bid on, I lost. My options are to use the other 7" rims with the worn R888's or get some road tyres slung on for the day.

Checked the oil and fluids and it has both ;)

That's it. Oh yeah, I have checked and the brake lights still don't work so don't follow me or wait for my brake lights because I don't have any. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED :D

So I have no ABS, no traction control, no brake lights, worn R888's at best in sub zero, potentially icy weather. At least I have harnesses and a roll cage :)

See you there :driving:

My Golf's having its suspension changed tomorrow, and 888's fitted too.
Oil service as well, and hopefully I'll get the heat shield ripped off so it stops sounding like a cement mixer!
There's also the slight issue that I barely fit into it, what can possibly go wrong?
