firstly i would like to say i know sweet fa about nissans but what sort of bhp could one expect from a sr20det red top with a mild tune, or even if this is the best one to possibly start with .(i need to get back to work quickly so i don't have time to think about stuff like this

pulsar uses an sr20 , and i belive these are the stronger engines compared to the other variants, standard there good for a reliable 350bhp apparently although people have used them in the 400's as standard and been lucky , all they need is forged pistons really and decent rods to run good power , the weak point is the gearboxes
standard sr20 with 1.2 bar on standard t28 turbo should be just over 300 bhp

Small one's are more juicy
Hayward is probably the UK's leading lights on them Jason. No need to look any further for advice mate as he will have done just about everything you can think of to them.
What the Hell are you planning now?
