After recently purchasing some parts and a few hours/headache's later here's an update ;
complete m3 evo rear end
m3 5 speed gearbox
K sport 330mm front brakes
pagid blue front pads
performance friction rear pads
m3 evo servo / mastercylinder
m3 front hubs
ucc double shear selector rod
i had a go at doing the alignment myself with some string and it wasn't too bad just a bit time consuming some fresh graphics and we are ready for Rockingham on monday.

After my first effort at doing the alignment on the car using axle stands,timber and some string it became apparent that although this works it has some flaws ;
a; it is time consuming to set up
b; you cannot really move the car to settle it once you have made any adjustments.
i gave this some thought and decided to have the cross bars which hold the string fitted to the car
enabling me to move the car after an adjustment and also allowing quicker set up time as i wanted to be able to utilise the flat floors of the pit garages on trackdays.
A rummage in the workshop came up with some air pipe and wall clamps ,the clamps where fixed to the car and then i just slide a piece of pipe in from one side and tie the string on quick measure and hey presto job done
(i think) this coupled with some floor tiles to allow for the wheels to slip should work out ok

fine for you road legal boys who have a decent alignment facility on your doorstepBen wrote:Jason, it was really difficult on mine too - I drove up to autotest, handed over the keys, waited 30 minutes and drove out again
