M3 hunting at Anglesey

Post by Tommy »

I was going through my videos from this year's trackdays and noticed I'd done some M3 slaying at Anglesey :smilielol5:

Three different E46 M3's (the last was supercharged), all fell foul of 'Little Blue'. However, 'Little Blue' then falls foul of a near spin, just after I'd been let past by the last M3 :blush5:

I've done only driven Cadwell, Snetterton, Hethel, Nurburgring, Brands and Donny........nothing else really aside from the old airfield toot, so next year will hopefully see some Betty shaped lunacy at other tracks. I'd especially like to try Castle Combe, Mallory, Oulton and Anglesey so there's a few miles under the wheels with those four for starters.

Bealo and I had already discussed tents and slepping bags for next years stuff. Might even treat ourselves to a properly cheap local B&B if that's an option.

(Off to check Easytrack)

Nearly forgot. Will also be doing BMWCC days next year. The one I did at Oulton really was excellent - it was cheap, the numbers of cars wasn't as high as commercial TDO's and the standard of driving was really good. I reckon that was down to the club atmosphere and the charismatic Chris Rossiter who did the briefing.

I'm defo up for the discussed road trips and really think a tent and camp atmosphere with a bunch of us and other halves would a fantastic event.
