That's a bargain! The condition looks good, the non-sunroof shell is desirable and it's even in the right colour
As Rob suggests, the E46 has a few bits you could consider for transplant and the prices are far more reasonable due to higher numbers available. You might want to consider the brakes off of one too, for example.
I'm sure that Dr Hayward at APT will have something up his sleeve pretty soon for remapping standard ECU's and that may be both an economic and quality solution for you after you've done the throttle body swap ( I certainly wouldn't bother beforehand)

its hard to believe mine started off like that not so long ago;)
i have some wheels like those with some 888 fitted if you where thinking of running the 15" to start with

E46 330i discs, calipers and caliper carriers are also a straight swap. Takes you to 325mm.
Or change out the whole knuckle for E36 M3/Evo and you can then fit the M3 brakes (obviously) which are smaller at 315mm but are floating (OEM or Performance Friction upgraded discs) so handle the heat much better.

I have the M3 fronts on mine with K-Sport 330mm discs, bells, calipers and DS-3000 pads. Ferocious braking power and very long lasting, both in terms of non-fade and mileage. I've done about 16 events on the pads and discs and on recent checks, they are standing up to my heavy use with no problems.
