I bought a Panasonic plasma screen and now have a Panasonic blu-ray DVD player. They have provision to connect to a network via RJ45 network cable to update software and connect to a variety of websites like youtube and it all connects and works fine with no fiddling. My computer also has HDMI output so I can use the TV as a monitor, this also works fine.
My problem is, my computer & TV are 20' apart so there's two quite hefty cables connecting them. I have a wireless router, courtesy of Sky, which the TV network cable is plugged into so was wondering whether I can connect this stuff wirelessly?
Any suggestions as to whether it's possible and how to go about it?
Ta!
TV wireless internet connection
Dont know if these will help, http://www.dabs.com/products/d-link-pow ... l?q=d-link I connect to my internet using these. It uses your plug sockets to connect to each other I have found them to be very good

Gerry,
Am I right in thinking you want to connect the tv to the pc 'wirelessly' ? The bit about the bluray player seems a bit of a red herring, as I presume with that connected to the router you already get access to the internet already ?
If this is true and you are talking about the cable from the pc to the monitor (vga or dvi or hdmi cable) then you cant use the wireless router to connect to this as its just a lead from the pc that displays it on the tv and nothing using the internet.
If its the fact that you want the bluray player to connect to the pc then I dont think this will work either because the bluray player will have a sort of operating system on it to go to the internet only and not a remote access player to view your pc.
I hope thats the questions you were asking though as I didnt think it was that clear
By the way what tv did you go for in the end ?
P.S. that wireless gaming adapter is a damn site cheaper than the official one I bought for my xbox and will be much faster !! Might buy myself one !
Ben we need to recommend it to Dave.

Hi Gareth, having re-read my original post, I don't think I'm misleading anyone

The present connection of PC to TV is via HDMI cable and it works fine. The TV acts as a second monitor. Can I connect the TV to PC with wireless HDMI?
Second Q: The Blu-ray player can connect to the internet, in it's own right, using a network cable connection to the wireless router at the PC. Can this network connection be made wireless?
TV is Panasonic TX42-PG10 Blu-ray player is Panasonic DMP-BD60
Take a look at the feedback for the gaming adaptor. I've been put off by comments of it not being compatible with Vista but for
