Can you beleive that I actually got waved through out onto track without a crash helmet on and did a complete lap without being black flaged. Have to say it was quite a shock to get halfway round sears to realise I didnt have the lid on.russ979 wrote:Thanks Dan! You know things have gone horribly wrong when even complete strangers on the pit wall are pissing themselves laughing!!:o But the worst bit is i`d have worn it that way if i could have just got the chin strap done up!!- I`ve seen the photo`s and it looks like i`m a cross between the Pg chimp and something out of space balls!:D If nothing else everyone was united in laughter, and if you get enough people together the chances are there will someone with special needs!:D But too take your "how not to wear a helmet"...... then we`d better ask Harry?
Clearly caught the Lid problem from Russ

After quite a lengthy absence from the forum, it was great to make it to the final meet of the year, albeit quite late. It was a tad dissapointing to see so few there when I arrived though. I understand that alot of people who did the trackday were tired but the hardcore ones were still there until the end
.
Roll on next year. I need to be sorting myself out a track car as it looks like my good lady has basically claimed the Gtr.
and the mondeo has just passed it's MOT so that is legal for another year and will be used as the "family car" (not quite what was planned for it).
I should be around alot more now that things have settled down a bit.

I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up

Russ if we both had hair we could have just had a bad hair day, as it is we needed to improvise but as we, well mainly you of "team silver subar" have brought such mirth and good will to BP perhaps we should pass the cap round for contributions.russ979 wrote:Oi big guy! Who`s been playing with my avitar?:toetap05:
What can i say but "team silver subaru" were having helmet issues on saturday.
I would have said helmet but you would put it the wrong way round and I would forget the blooming thing anyway
But if anyone would like to sponsor TSS can you make it cash we dont take cheques, IOUs or empty promises
