What light in the car do you need for foglight ?

Chaps,

Having a real nightmare with my car at the moment fixing a couple of things that need doing for the MOT.

One of them being the foglight illumination on the dash. The foglights work fine but the light on the dash isnt coming on at all. Had the dashboard out but no joy still (this is a pain in the ass on an RX7 !!!).

What do I need to get a pass for this on the MOT ? Can I just put an LED on the switch itself ?

Really don't see why not Gareth. Can you not check on the relevant website? (DVLA)

My rear fog switch is just a normal rocker one with a red led that comes on when they are turned on so I don't see why not.

The led is built into the rocker on mine, don't know if that makes any difference.
