888's, A048's or V70a's. What's your choice?
My R888's and wheels turned today and were very quickly fitted (My god they grip like a grippy thing).
The weight of the wheels are far less than my current Redlines and even lighter than my Rota SDR's. Does anyone recognize what make the wheels are?
There are no markings on the wheels and the guy i purchased them from doesn't know either.

Believe me, I can't wait. I'm astounded by just how much grip and feedback the 888's give over a standard road tyre. I've spent an inordinate amount of money on other mods hoping for more speed but these seem to be the missing link in the chain of much improved lap times.
Excuse me if i sound like a kid at christmas, But these tyres have seriously got my trackday juices flowing and it almost seems like I'll have to learn to drive my car again with these fitted.
Roll on the 21st at Snett

Having never driven Snett in the wet and seeing as it's going to be p!ssing down on Saturday, Is it worth using my 888's? or just run on my Conti road tyres?
I've used the 888's in the wet on road and they felt superb, although standing water was an issue! Is it possible to get enough heat into them on a wet day on track?
Help!!!

The weather may soon change yet Jon (i hope!)!
Think it was this time last year on a wet track that i got in with MikeB in his impreza for a few pax laps - fairly sure he was running 888's and that felt amazing. Was only a wet track though, no standing water from memory.
Probably better safe than sorry though.
p.s. can i use them instead?
