What a nightmare! certainly cause for concern for future buyers at 3rd & 4th owner level when electronics start failing or previous owners have started to by-pass safety functions.

This could have seroius repercussions on residuals if insurance and repair coast are this high and would they satisfy MOT inspection.

The way I look at it is that there will be plenty of these ready for track use before long. As Gerry says, fix the bonnet properly and hit the track.
