Hi Guys,
Aparently, my sister inlaw wants to drive an Aston for her 40th birthday.
So, her other half has asked for some help finding somewhere that will let her do it but where she gets a bit more than about 10 minutes doing it.
He has found a couple but they look like you only get 2-3 laps and he would like her to have a better day than that.
Any ideas???
I'm going to have a look today but thought I'd ask on here first.
Ta
Ady.

I went to one not too long ago and was very disappointed, got 3 laps driven round, 6 laps of driving on a 1 mile circuit that was basically just twistys which wasn't fun in a 2.5ton Aston (better in a GT3 but still disappointing)
I would try direct with some of the propper circuits because even if they don't run days like that themselves they should know someone that does

Ive been on and gifted a few. The best one was with http://www.driversdreamdays.co.uk/index.php
Very well organised and professional. I had the experience at Bruntingthorpe in Leicstershire. Sighting lap in a Impreza, then five laps in an Aston. And then a high speed pax lap in a Impreza. The track is an old airfield making use of main runway and perimeter track. Very long straights with nice sweeping bends at the ends and an option of a chicane or bypass that and go high speed down the back straight. I done my reserch and Bruntingthorpe seemed like the best venue in respect of track time etc.
I was gifted an ultimate supercar day with http://www.udrivecars.com/index.tpl located at Heyford Park, Oxford. Again very well organised and professional but on a smaller scale. The track was located on the main runway and consisted of a coned area. Tricky in the DB9 but enjoyable in the Porsche, but not much of a straight to achieve a decent velocity. Sighting lap and a high speed Elise pax lap.
Unfortunately you dont get very close to the track to spectate and to take pics at Heyford park but get a good view at Brunters. Both places offer photos of the day but are expensive.
Hope this helps.

Save the planet! Thats where i keep all my stuff!
Ta for the surgestions guys,
I've been looking around and found one tonight where you drive 5 astons from the 60's to present day on the road in pairs doing a treasure hunt style event.
Not cheap but you get to drive all 5 cars for part of the time whilst navigating to the next clue for the rest. And it's an all day event too.
Might run that one past him to see what he thinks.
