He has built a lot of cosworth engines... a lot, with quite a few of them appearing in magazine features. He built and maintains the engine of the Fast Ford Magazine's editors track car.

It's one of those grey area's. Hassle versus cost, without tuner backing I would probably go for it, but as the car will be set up and checked prior to an event at this time the money is better used else where.

All questions are greatfully received as our knowledge of the YB is very limited. The only fact that we knew about this engine is wrong. We always said we would never run one:blush5:

Went to see Gordon today and whilst there I mentioned the subject of a wasted spark system and his reply was that we might be going over one but that it would something that we would look at at a later time. It's all about keeping the initial build cost down to essentials at this time:)
