Been having a good old clean today in the engine bay as it had seen better days, having some parts re powder coated back to standard but had to prep them first which will then be painted by Mark@Kamala tommorrow.
Trying to juggle this around work is interesting but worth it, lunch breaks, after work and early in the morning. Will be worth it hopefully, just to clean up the engine bay.
I know cosmetics aren't usually at the top of the priority list however with the facilities at work it would be rude not to make use of them, i want to make the car look as good as clean/tidy as i plan for it to go.
Do excuse the poor picture quality.

Having seen some interesting threads on the Type R owners club i was pleased to see how clean it looked under the cover.

Little bit of elbow grease, first for everything! The rocker cover, strut ends (there you go Gareth!!
), various brackets, radiator brackets are all off and cleaned up ready for painting tommorrow.
Im just glad i am able to use the trusty transit van so i can get on with jobs like this.

Rocker Cover Sorted..
Cosmetics done.. now onto the real modifications...
Quite pleased with it over all, I think it looks alot cleaner under the bonnnet, picture makes it look a little pink for some reason but in real life its a nice oem red, not oem crackle finish though as this flakes far to easy...
