A sad, sad day

Post by DR GREENTHUMB »

Dont know if any body is aware but sat 17 oct 2009 was a very sad day in the world of skylines in uk & europe. Sadly, rob( aka tweeny rob ) from T R Racing passed away after being involved in a head on collision. Having only met rob a few times at santa pod he came across as a very friendly & happy bloke with a total devotion to his work, hobby, and passion.......... the nissan skyline. My heart felt condolences go out to his family , friends & any body else who knew this legend...

I never knew the guy but he was well respected in Subaru circles before moving to Skylines.

Never met the guy but condolences to his family. The driver of the Skyline is in hospital I believe.

Not nice at all, RIP.

I can't beleive this yet.
Tweenie has been very helpfull to me over my years of skyline ownership with parts and advice in the early years before meeting Dr Hayward. Such a sad day. I beleive he has wife kids etc i beleive and i can only wish the very best to them in the future.

RIP :-(
