I suppose it depends on the savings available Scott...... AP will have tolerances for skimming which are probably available on their site but if you remove another 3mm, you'll have lost the bets part of 25% of the original thickness. Too much I suspect.

Godspeed is one of those firms that seem to get such a mixed review online. I have no personal experience mate and only really answered this thread because no one else had! If you are looking to get some custom ones made, there is a guy on a few forums based at Milton Keynes that may be able to help ( http://www.db-power.co.uk/index2.php?page=home ) If warping your discs is a repeated problem, I trust you're looking into a solution?

I tried performance friction and they said they are ap special casting -so a no.

The discs have already lots of stress cracks.

Spoke to ian at godspeed and he seemed pretty helpful and would make the discs to the same spec/sizes -only differance being they have straight veins.

tbh the ap discs are pretty old so they have done well I warped them running the pads too low following bealo all day!

compbrake weren't that helpful as they are non std discs and have a larger eye diameter.

question is whether its false economy

Another couple of places to try are 3G and HiSpec. Worth a try.
