A new job means no weekday playtime for a while :( I was only thinking today that you and I need to catch up on track as soon as possible.........off to search for weekend events before 2010

Have fun. Let me know how you get on with that new splitter ;)

Ah Jase I think I remember you saying the weekdays aren't good.

Oh well, there will be a next time.

I'm praying Oulton isn't going to be wet and slippery like Donington as we're down to old Hankooks all round now.

Well, we had a great day at Oulton, if not the best track day of 2009. Doing it with the BMW car club certainly was different to the usual commercial track day. Less cars, better etiquette (generally) and an actual club atmosphere.

The car went much better than expected, the old Hankooks proving themselves to be a good tyre again once we'd scrubbed them in and due to the fact that it was mainly dry. This was my 3rd time at Oulton and it's finally clicking. It's such a challenging track and being able to get it flowing (especially Druids) was hugely satisfying.

To top it all off, we were awarded runner up Driver of the Day and were given a half price track day for next season :D
